Halon 1211 is a liquified gas, pressurized with nitrogen, that discharges as a vapor for zero cold or static shock, and no impairment of the operator's vision. Halon quickly penetrates areas that typical powder or liquid agents have difficulty reaching, and leaves no residue. Typically used for protection of sensitive electronics, tapes, and film, Halon is especially well suited for automotive engines.
